The mission of S.N.T.G.N. TRANSGAZ S.A. is to ensure the natural gas transmission through the National Transmission System under quality, economic efficiency, safety and environment protection conditions.

The management of S.N.T.G.N. TRANSGAZ S.A. undertakes to contribute to this mission by maintaining the certification of the integrated management system for quality and environment, according to SR EN ISO 9001 and SR EN ISO 14001 standards.

The continuous maintaining and improvement of this system leads to an organizational culture, individual creativity stimulation and synergy of the actions of all TRANSGAZ’s employees having as result determination and fulfillment of customers' requirements, increase their satisfaction, compliance with applicable law, including environmental protection, satisfaction of its own staff and of other stakeholders.

Actions to be taken in order to achieve these goals:

1. Providing quality services continuously, customer satisfaction and environment protection.
2. Compliance with the legal requirements concerning the quality, environment protection and regulation applicable to the activities and services provided.
3. Ensure the implementation of adequate processes and procedures in order to meet the requirements of the customers, other stakeholders and the legal requirements.
4. Ensure TRANSGAZ’s personnel training and awareness in order to increase its engagement and involvement in processes improvement, customer satisfaction and legal requirements fulfillment.
5. Improving environmental performance on all TRANSGAZ’s locations and activities.
6. Ensuring continuous monitoring and measurement of the performances and evaluation of compliance with the legislation, programs and established objectives.
7. Periodical analysis carried out by the top management on the integrated management system for quality and environment, evaluation of compliance with the current policy and improvement opportunities establishing.

By the power vested in me, I assume full responsibility for allocating resources required for a continuous maintaining and improvement of the Integrated Management System for Quality and Environment, totally in accordance with the stated policy.

It is important for all S.N.T.G.N. TRANSGAZ S.A.’s employees to know and understand this policy, to be aware of their role in its achievement and to take all necessary actions for its implementation in their daily activity, regardless their hierarchical position within the company.
