Balancing rules
Balancing Model: weekly with daily restrictions;
Balancing Tolerances:
Tolerances related to the daily imbalances |
The following three tolerance levels are regulated for the absolute value of the daily imbalance: 2.5%, 5% and 15% of the total approved nomination on the exit points; |
Tolerances related to the cumulative imbalance |
The following five tolerance levels are regulated for the cumulative imbalance: +/-2.5%, +/-5%, +/-8%, +/-12% and +/-15% of the total approved nomination on the exit points; |
Tolerance related to the non-observance of the nomination |
The following three tolerance levels are regulated for the absolute value of the non-observance of the nomination: 3%, 10%, 20%, of the total approved nomination on the entry/exit point; |
Information on balancing:
The balancing tariffs and the regulating price are approved by NERA and are applied on the national market starting with the 1st of July 2011.
Communication frequency of the information related to balancing:
The daily temporary imbalances are communicated after each gas day and the temporary cumulative imbalances are communicated after the network users employ the gas transfer facility (at the end of each month).
Imbalance tariffs:
The imbalance tariffs are regulated for each exceed of the above mentioned tolerance levels.
Regulation regime:
The final cumulative imbalance is regulated for each gas week (at the end of every calendar month). The regulating price is set by the NERA.
Observations:
Upon the application of the balancing model above, weekly is considered each gas week according to the Network Code;
Imbalance tariffs
Imbalance tariffs and the purchasing price of the natural gas delivered in surplus were approved by The Order of the NERA Chairman no. 31/2010 (Romanian Official Gazette, Part I, no. 819/08.12.2010). (available only in Romanian language)
Based on the Order of the NERA Chairman no. 55/22.12.2011 (available only in Romanian language) the application of the imbalance tariffs and the purchasing price of the natural gas delivered in surplus is prorogued until 01.04.2012
